Coral Isle Apartment

Coral Isle Apartment is a three-bedroom flat on Coral Isle, in a building set back from the street behind trees, with a balcony that carries its own braai.

The upper floors are reached by lift rather than stairs, which is unusual around here and worth knowing. There is parking. The apartment has been soundproofed and there is air conditioning throughout.

Granite counter, blue chairs

The kitchen has wood cabinets, a granite counter and a dishwasher, opening onto a dining area with a table and blue chairs round it. The living room takes a grey couch with the dining table past it and a television on a console, the whole run open plan. There is an oven, a stovetop, a microwave, a kettle, a washing machine and heating.

Pink cushions, vanity table

Three bedrooms sleep six. One has a large window with a grey throw across the bed and lamps either side, another pink cushions with a vanity table and a round mirror, the third two single beds with a table between them. There is a dressing room, and interconnecting rooms can be arranged. Of the two bathrooms, one has a built-in corner bath on a granite counter, the other a glass shower with a heated towel rail.

Braai on the balcony

The balcony has wicker seating, a coffee table and a braai built onto it, with rooftops and the hills behind them past the railing. There is outdoor dining furniture, a patio and a terrace.

Coral Isle and around

Bicycles can be hired and airport transfers arranged. Leisure Isle is flat and residential, connected to Knysna by one causeway on Armstrong Road. The northern edge is Steenbok Nature Reserve, free at any hour. There is a longer list of places to compare.
