Panzi Garden Suite

Panzi Garden Suite is a whitewashed cottage on George Avenue set into a thick green garden, with a plunge pool round the back and a row of cruiser bicycles parked along the path.

It sits on the ground floor with its own entrance and parking outside. A covered stoep holds wicker chairs and a small table at the front. Aloes crowd a garden room with a bay window, and a wooden sign points the way to the bikes and the pool.

Teacups on an open shelf

A kitchenette runs along one wall with a bistro table and stools beside it, the sink set beneath a window and teacups on an open shelf above. There is a stovetop, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, with kitchenware to cook properly. A high chair can be provided, and breakfast can be brought to the room.

The queen and the luggage rack

The bedroom holds a queen bed with a wardrobe, a bedside lamp, a luggage rack and a wall-mounted television, and it sleeps two. The bathroom has a glass shower stall with a window above the vanity. Toiletries, towels and linen are provided, and the floors are tiled throughout.

The plunge pool in the green

A round plunge pool is set into lush planting with palm trees standing over it. There is a kettle braai on the patio beside a reed screen, an outdoor fireplace, a sun terrace and furniture to eat outside on.

George Avenue and the shore

Those bicycles are rather the point. The island is flat, the lanes are quiet, and the sandy lagoon shoreline is a walk away in most directions. Pets are allowed. For a whole house instead, there are holiday homes to choose from.
